Hello, I'm new to reef2reef, so thanks in advanced. i have my 125 gallon display tank on hydros and i just set up my newest 130 gallon frag grow out tank. its very close to my display. i'm curious if i get hydros dosing pumps or a blenny or minnow, can i set it up to use the same IV and test salinity, ph and ALK on both tank systems? i test the salinity, ph every 6 hours on my display and alk once a day. id like to do the same (obviously different times) on the frag tank. Is it possible or am i buying another IV?

I would think it would be easier to just buy another iV. I would think it might be doable to have two different full lines that just empty into one tank but I don't think you can have two iV test schedules on the same collective/setup.

Now that I think of it I'm not really sure a second iV would work if it would be on the same collective as the other tank...

I would be more worried about cross contamination between the two tanks if something were to go wrong in one tank that could be easley transferred to the other using the same iV. You should be able to setup multiple iV's in the same collective provided you have the probe inputs and probes and separate pumps for each iV.
