I have a 29gal. But this thread is my 30 breeder build. Yep those zoos in my avatar are mine.

So i was standing at wal-mart trying to decide which black to go with. The regular one or the satin?? After about 5 mins i went with the regular. I'm really glad i went with that as it's like the same black look as the overflows. Well here are some pics.

I used Krylon Fusion spray paint

Painting. I sprayed one layer then waited like 5 mins and sprayed another and repeat till i did like 4-5 coats.

Looks nice!!

I'll get a pic tomorrow with the overflows installed with the black background. My lights should be coming in next week so i'll have more pics up soon. Just got the wood screws today to build my stand so i'll be posting pics of the stand build too. I need to do everything fast. LOL if i take a break it'll take me forever to finish it as i'll just leave it there till i'm in the mood to work again.

What lighting is going on the tank?

I'm going to be using a 150 HQI setup. With Radium 20k or Phoenix 14k bulbs. This is going to be strictly LPS setup so i'm going for the lower light. If i find the radiums too blue i'm going to switch to the phoenix as it's more white than the radiums.

Nice Nice. I like the look of the 20 K Radiums. they seem pretty blue...

Make sure u post lots of pics of the stand when u build it

Sure will. My stand is more like a whole cabinet now. Haha. I'll post lots of pics. I'll get the stand up first so you can get a pic of how to build yours. Then finish it up into a whole stand/canopy?? I don't know what to call it but you'll see it when i'm done with it.

I remember u said wednesday! I was thinkin today was wednesday im gettin OLD!!!

I got my overflow Kit in today. I havent even opend it yet!

How do I know where to drill it on the tank? Do I drill it like at the top or what?
