Hi all, I’m Harry, I live in Vancouver, and I’m planning on getting a reef tank soon! Here are the details:

I guess I will start with how big it‘s gonna be, it’s a 56g tank with a 13g sump. In regards to filtration, it’s got a skimmer rated for an 80g tank, it’s got 18 ounces of activated carbon, and 2 filter sponges. It’s got 2 570gph water circulation pumps, and a 300 watt heater. The stocking will be this:

1 Potter’s Angelfish
2 Pink Skunk Clownfish
1 Swalesi Basslet
1 Radiant Wrasse
2 Wheeler’s Shrimp Goby
3 Dispar Anthias
2 Fighting Conch Snails
30 Astraea Snails
1 Bubble Tip Anemone
And assorted soft corals. Oh I almost forgot, 60 pounds of live sand and 80 pounds of live rock. Any help would be appreciated! Pls give advice.

EDIT: And I’m gonna do 20% weekly water changes.

Don’t rush the cycle, add fish slowly with least aggressive fish first, work towards rock solid, unchanging water chemistry, once you see any coralline, add any type of coral.

.......and most important.....have FUN
