I’m going to cross my fingers and say I think the tank has finally adjusted and is starting to take off, other than minor algae issues here and there. I think we are on our way to a pretty sweet build!

I had the same thing try to happen to me when I switched from my 125g to the new 200. I think my calcium reactor saved 95 percent of my acros. Tank has been going strong for 4 1/2 months everything is taking off. Your tank looks really good.

Oh I know! I’m only using it in small half doses in my ATO, I switched over to kalk to hold a higher ph. Unfortunately my apartment is keeping my ph to low for my liking. I was using marine buffer but kept running into high alk issues with buffing. So far everything is responding nicely. But I hear your warning! I am by no mean an expert with it yet!

Hey thanks! This tank has defiantly come with a few hardships already! But I think I’ve got it pretty dang close to my other build now. Just battling the diatoms and algae outbreaks, hope they go away soon!
Man I wish I could of saved 90% of my acros I had some awesome sticks growing out!
Just read the whole thread and you did an awesome job. Tank looks beautiful. I'm starting a new 75g that I will install on the wall so will take a while to complete that project. Then I have to move the rock, corals and fish from the 40g to the 75g and add some more rocks.

Sounds like an awesome project! Defiantly have a game plan! Moving fish and rock can be a bit tricky, get your self some buckets!!!!

I am currently dossing 2 teaspoons for 5 gallons in my 20 gallon ATO, I’m going with dosage as I’m pretty stocked up on corals right now.

That's a good low dose I was going through a massive coralline bloom which ate all my alk and ca. 3 months my tank was covered
