Sorry for your lost corals

..... but more importantly, you are a man after my own heart taking the risks of standing on the rim of a tool bucket instead of getting a stool or ladder reaching over the tank! AWESOME!! My wife always tells me to take the extra time to do it right so nothing else gets broke, but I hardly ever listen! HAHA

I honesty didn’t expect t it to be this bad... looking like all SPS is a total loss... trying to find motivation to keep going.
Bucket standing is an art form! Haha

It’s not all doom and gloom! At least I get corals for wholesale pricing! Looks like I’ve got half left! Stopped in on lunch and feeling much better!

Update! Got a pretty nice green algae bloom. The corals that are left are doing great! I’m patiently waiting to ramp up the sps again! Letting the system settle! I added another purple tang best decision ever! They love each other!

Picked up a cleaner wrasse today and a replacement onyx Clownfish male! :( Little buddy decided to swim into a powerhead... let’s just say it’s no longer in the reef... lots of headaches so far but, I will not give up. Lots of bulletproofing going on.

My tangs were absolutely delighted to have the cleaner wrasse they swarmed the poor guy! I would recommend to get one for every reef!

OK guys this marks the two week mark for my tank move everything seems to be stabled out now spent quite a bit of time last night re-organizing my rock getting everything put back into place.

I’m not sure if I’m too happy with the overflow o_O when I use the Stockman that came with it my detritus a nutrient seem to skyrocket not sure if any of you have ran into the same thing. When I remove the stockman and it allows the overflow to completely flush I’m finding my tank is staying cleaner? or not sure if this is a factor or what the deal is any insights on this?

I Ramped up my carbon and GFO last night. Working on getting a minor algae bloom under control.

I’m pretty happy with the rock work as of right now! Let me know what you guys think?! Sorry for the blue pic! I’ll update the thread later tonight when the lights are on I was only able to snag a pic on my way out to work! ITS FRIDAY!!!

Okay lots of changes!!! Pesky wrasse decided to dig a tunnel under my aquascape and boom! He made me some new frags ! However I’ve been making lots of adjustments getting the tank dialed in! Things are really starting to get back to normal!!!
My alk was a bit to high for my liking so working hard on getting that corrected with water changes daily! ;Bookworm Lots of fine tuning happening! My RBTA is finally feeling like it’s at home!
Also the onyx’s have paired up very nice! Here are some pictures of this afternoon!

My clown tang has got to be one of the best photo bombers ever! Hence the blurry picture! But it still turned out cool!

@saltyfilmfolks what do you recommend doing for bleached out corals?
I got a steal of a deal from a guy who’s corals we’re all suffering 10 bucks a frag I couldn’t pass up. After losing most of my stuff.

I’ll post a few pics! I bought a lot of this guys frags before and colored them up pretty nice!

Purchases! SPS
1x grizzley adams
1x rainbow stylo
1x pink birds nest
1x purple digi
1x grape ape monti?
1x unknown
1x blue green birdsnest

With a new system is there anything I should do to be more carful or to yield quickest best results?! All opinions welcome!

Some updates! Things are pretty close to dialed back in! Refugium has blown up! Mind the clear glass! I still haven’t decided what color I want to do for my background! Any suggestions?!

Time for some wire management! I’m in the process of getting that cleaned up now... just not enough time in the day anymore. My main goal has to get stuff running as close to I had it as possible, so far the results are good! Constant tinkering still going on.
