How long have you had the Tangs BTW? I dunno if it was just funny angles in the photos (again!), but are some of them on the thin side?

If so, then BONUS – incremental increases in the amount you feed is another thing you can begin before resorting to discrete fertilizers.

Don't over-feed, of course....that's a bad way to make corrections.

But increasing feeding for legit reasons is...legit! :p Make increases small and controlled with at least a few weeks before making any other changes....wanna see what happens each time.

2 new tangs and 3 anthias went in a week ago! They are skinny from the qt process so I have been ramping up with nori, flake, mysis and zooplankton as well as corals foods!
I do agree with you with watching to see how the tangs respond to increasing feedings, I kinda mentioned that briefly. I think that will be a surefire way to get the nutrients up ;)

I’m really loving it! Finally happy to come home and crack some cold ones and get lost in thank for a while after work! Sure has been a process with this tank! I feel like I’ve had everything thrown at me all at once

My pup found he loves the tank too!!!

Lots of changes still  I had my rock work crumble yet again. I got pretty mad, took out a couple nice pieces. Leaned my lesson again ;)

Still running the vibrance and started scrubbing the tank not with just micro bubbles but more!
I’m seeing great results!

I am also running an air line out side when scrubbing... I’m still battling low ph:eek:
Can seem to get it to stay high even with kalk ;Bored

And now time to update the peramiters;Bookworm
