I Accidentally Created a Huge Nudibranch Berghia!!

[SoFlow]

So today I found a HUGE BERGHIA! So backstory to this I put berghia in my main display around a 7/8 months ago but then I wanted to breed them but couldn’t find them till I saw them at night around 1 month when I put them in my display I thought I got every single one but I guess not back to present time, I moved the rock from my display to one of my 10gallon tanks where I’m producing aptasia and all of a sudden this guy shows up he’s really huge compared to my other breeders never seen one this big!

Ps. I don’t think my camera adjust to how big this guy is

[EnterName]

The obvious choice here is to selectively breed them by size and sell them as "Ultra Berghia" for $99 per nudibranch

[KrisReef]

Mobi Dick right there!

I think the Aiptasia would tremble in his presence.

got some of my own and they’ve been breeding in my tank. Nice! It’s a giant!

[BryanM]

geezus that thing is huge. I put 6 in my tank last year, combined they were half that size.

[BriDroid]

He's eating good!

[Reefvision]

That’s awesome- I wish the 3 that I received (and could barely see in delivery container) would grow up to be that! My aptasia infestation would be gone. I’m not sure about Bergia but they are supposed to do the job. I am pessimistic

They will get the job done if they aren't eaten by something. Shrimps (and I'm pretty sure some hermits) will eat them. I've dumped hundreds of dollars into Berghia just for them to "disappear" instantly, even though I removed all shrimp beforehand. You need quite a lot for the job but they can really work wonders.
