Well, he got a little sneaky on me and had the darlings before I woke up. But, I do have at least one more that is expecting!!! I snapped a few pics though. Look close at the little white dots, that is them. I tried to get an adult in the pic too to give you an idea of how tiny they are. They adults are only 1 1/2 inches!!

Congrats on the babies Missy, hopefullythe other pappa will be a little more cooperative. Is there any special foods that you need to feed the babies?

I have to hatch brine shrimp everyday for all the ponies! As soon as they are born they eat what the adults eat. Once a week I decapsulate a bunch of brine shrimp eggs, then I hatch them daily. Not much work at all really. Takes about 5 mins a day to feed all my tanks. I enjoy it. Thank you for all the congrats.

You're very welcome. All I have seen so far are pure white ones and 1 that is VERY brown. I know they will change colors and that is half the fun, trying to guess what they will look like as adults!

Thank you Barb! As you can see the tank needs a really good cleaning. I was trying to give it a couple of days, so I guess tomorrow is the day. Super hard to try and clean with these little guys everywhere!!!

I am sure it is, when I was raising fw platys I was always double checking and triple checking my buckets for any little ones that got siphoned up while cleaning the tank.

That is exactly what I do. It just makes me so darn nervous that before I dump the dirty water I strain it. I would be horrified if I dumped one!!!

I did have one time that I missed one and did not realize it until I had already dumped the bucket into the toilet, I felt so horrible :(
