I cannot keep corals??

So here is how it has been going:
1. All fish are fine I just added two tangs that are shy and not eating yet through 4 days but I have grown and done well fish fish.
But....
2. I lost a duncan coral already I had it for 4 months then it closed up for a month and eventually fell through the rock cracks when I was cleaning algae I did not bother trying to pull it out b it was basically dead.
3. I also have a frogspawn, candy cane, and torch and aside from the torch which has grown in mass but not added new heads nothing has grown... to be fair I have not been target feeding the corals...
So do LPS grow more with target feeding what should I target feed reef roids or mysis or both?

The tank is a little over a year old the only parameter problems are consistantly low nitrates under 5.

In my experience, coral issues are about water quality and consistency. Need to know the parameters and what you use to test for them. Also, what do you have for lights and what is the schedule you use? What size tank, how old is it, etc. The more specific info you provide, the easier it will be to help you. Feeding is helpful but not usually a requirement for the corals you describe.

What are all of your parameters? Nitrates under 5 is lower than I’d like but shouldn’t be an issue. Lps do like higher nitrates though. Mine also like being target fed. Duncan’s NEED to be target fed to grow. Mine are happy with anything they can get. I usually feed the Duncan pellets and everything else pellets/mysis/brine/krill/plankton/ or reef roids

Its a nuvo 60g. 1 year old. Water params:
Alk: 9.1 (always around 9)
Calcium: 490
Mag: 1520
Nitrates: undetectable
Ph: 8.2
Lights are radions running at about 15% overall at a 25% intensity. Vortechs mp10 hit a max of 50% flow.
