I noticed this spot on the side of my yellow Coris wrasse. Any ideas?

It almost looks like a sting - do you have bubble tips in there by chance?

Hi Rachel, I do have a bubble tip. I didn't think of that. I thought it might be the result of a nip from my maroon clown. Right now I'm just going to monitor it and see which way it goes . It's tough to get fish out of a tank. Thanks

Yeah that's smart. Corises are definitely hard to get out. Could be a bite - I didn't think of that.
