Not a poll just a quick question, what is the most common piece of aquarium equipment. To me the answer is short and sweet, a 5 gallon bucket!! I don't care what kind of tank you maintain or how big it is, chances are you have AT LEAST 1 five gallon plastic bucket if not many!!
I was visiting with my daughter this past weekend. She, my wife and went clothes shopping to burn some time and we ended up in store that sells Yeti products. I love Yeti mind you, my wife and I have 4 Yeti cups and keep one with us wherever we go. So I'm looking around and what do I see but a Yeti 5 gallon bucket. I started checking it out, I mean, I am a reefer....I do use/need the best 5 gallon bucket I can get right? The label states, among other things, that its food safe. Awesome, food safe is great after all I am a reefer, I can talk myself into believing that I really NEED this Yeti bucket. One thing I don't see is a price tag. The manager notices me eyeballing the bucket and asks if she can help. First thing out of my mouth, "How much are these 5 gallon plastic Yeti buckets?" $39.99 ;Jawdrop:(;Dead I had to laugh!!
Don't have any idea how long these have been on the market, and I have no doubt that this is THE FINEST 5 GALLON PLASTIC BUCKET money can buy....(pssssst, btw $3.25 at Lowe's)
Come on now, we are reefers here. Our tanks deserve this right?!?!
