I hate asking zoa id’s because it’s basically pointless. They all are mostly the same imo. But someone is dying to know what these are. So here I am begging to know. ;Meh What are they? They were around $5 only.

One of my favorites. I have a nice colony of them that are very big and bright.

Why the hobby decided they are basically weeds I’ll never understand.

I thought they were hammers. But I think everything is a hammer since that’s the only coral name I know.:)

Regardless those are some nice ones.

Because they grow like crazy! While some of my zoas are growing 1 or 2 heads, this one has grown 9!

Edit: I just realized how old this post is lol Happy reefing everyone! Btw @ScottR I love the little zoa garden you got going

Thanks but the better looking zoas never grow. The utter chaos on the bottom left would rather just grow to a giant zoa instead of more polyps.

I’ve had mine a few months or so. But I’m going to see if I can scrape away some eagle eyes and radioactive to make room for prettier types.

If I were closer, I know someone who'd love to have those scrapings hahaha

One man's trash is another man's treasure. I didnt even give the tank a chance to grow out before it was pretty much maxed. Just glad the "boss" is on board for another setup ;) ;) ;)
