I just got some bubble tips in the mail

Bubble tips in the mailing acclimated them, then turned the pumps off, 1 hour later they are still not attached to anything and the ones mouth is wide open and looks very limp. I got them from coralannoynoums online and they don’t look too good, at least the one.

I would place it in an area of low flow and monitor how it does throughout the day. I tagged one of our members who knows a lot more about anemones than I do, and should be able to help you out more.

I am by no means an expert on anemones, but I would just leave them be for a day or two before getting too concerned. I'm sure they need recovery time from being packaged and shipped before they'll start acting normal.

If it is dying, it will smell awful. They do take awhile to recover from shipping sometimes.

When I received my BTA it was in the same condition. They really don't like being shipped. What I did was to turn off the flow and physically hold it against a rock. It takes a while, you may need to hold it for a good three or four minutes.

Then you're going to want to watch it, because wherever you put it, it WILL move.

Leave it there. Also have cipro and lugol's ready for a dip in case it's a bacterial infection that developed during the shipment. Was the bag's water cloudy when it arrived?

Should I leave the flow off or just let it go? I also noticed the carpet nem I got in the same package won’t attach either
