I just got some bubble tips in the mail

Bubble tips in the mailing acclimated them, then turned the pumps off, 1 hour later they are still not attached to anything and the ones mouth is wide open and looks very limp. I got them from coralannoynoums online and they don’t look too good, at least the one.

Assure they are properly acclimated , with salinity matched and one hour may be too soon yet. Its often up to 4 hours and if they are trying to hide, light may be too bright

Low flow. Don't make too many changes at this point since they are already stressed out. The anemones will attach WHEN they want to attach. Unlike most corals, they have a mind of their own. They will do what they want to do (including dying).

Which state are you located? They seem to have issues when shipping outside of California. I haven't had issues with them since I am in LA.

Also, ask them for their salinity parameters. You might need to adjust. Normally with soft corals you drip acclimate or do a 50/50 bag water and tank water to adjust to salinity aside from temperature.

Yeah, east coast buyers seem to have issues. Especially if UPS takes a while longer to deliver.

UPS was pretty fast, are you familiar with coral Anonymous? Will they replace it?

Yeah, I buy from them before. They will either give you credit or refund. I opted for refund.

I’m just waiting for a response, the carpet nem hasn’t attached yet either and I know
Nothing about those. It sucks bc they have rly nice bubble tips I can’t find stuff like that anywhere else

Leave it on low flow. Nems hate it when there's no flow. It will adjust where it wants to go eventually when it settles in.

The Red BTA looking good. The other one looks stressed. You can QT and treat the one that has not attached. It may help him survives.
