That big clown might have killed it. I think it is ok to add a bta as soon as ur tank is stable. How long tank be up and running and what is ur water looking like?

The video isn't loading, but it is for sure still alive in the picture! It seens to just be closed up, they do that every now and then.
If you are ever unsure about an anemone being dead, do the smell test. If it smells really bad, like rotten fish, then it is definitely dead. But if it smells like seawater, then it's alive. Jut fyi though, if the foot is still attached then it is %100 percent alive. Keep us posted!
Good luck and God bless you!

Agree with those above. Keep you water stable and see if it doesn’t open up again.

I see what might be a split on the foot. I'd guess clown love.

I don’t recommend adding a BTA in the first month for a Someone that is new to this hobby, at all for that matter. Is it still out of the water?
it may still be alive. Take it slower, read as much content as you can possibly find on everything you want to add to the tank, and focus first on stability in the aquarium. Most people will recommend you wait six months before adding such a creature. You’ll be out of the hobby before you know it, if you don’t
Take some of the advice given.

He he’s stuck, he’s not dead. Not unusual at all behavior in respect to the recent changes.
If he comes off, and or,starts coming apart, then discard immediately.

i also recommend reading the stickies in the clownfish/nem section. Probably wouldnt be a bad idea to read the new to saltwater stickies either

So your "buddy" made you an offer you couldn't refuse...
Be sure to thank him.

@Katrina71 I have to say, I'm not sure it's dead either. I'd place it back in the tank and monitor.
