I am on a list to get a blue teardrop and before I throw down 300$ I want to know if anyone has had any bad experiences with fijian clams. I know french polynesians are pretty much ticking time bombs so I stay away from them and havnt had bad luck raising any other clams. Just want to make sure I will be ok with this one:smile:

Skinz I have been following your thread on them and im happy I found it when I did because I was thinking about getting one. Its so strange that they just die. I dont know how you keep going man. If I lost 3 clams in 3 months. Let alone them being pricey. I would probably just give up.

Reef Deep Aquatics at MACNA last year. They had a tank full of huge maximas in all sorts of awesome colors.

I've heard there are 3 wholesaler's who import them, All of mine came from the same one. Every time I add clams that have been in a certain vendor's systems, I get a mass clam die off......

don't be a quitter! :)

No quitter here lol, just taking a break.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
