So I have posted a bunch on here about getting help to save some damaged candy canes I have. I have an orange set and a kryptonite set. A crab damaged my kryptos. The orange ones got a Fw dip courtesy of me not knowing how to kill a worm (syllid worm I wanted gone ASAP). I was 1000% sure the orange ones were toast. Everyone told me they were toast. I’ve attached a ton of photos of before and after of both frags. I am happy to report that the kryptonite set has stopped deteriorating and tonight was beginning to send out feeders when I turned the light on to feed my senile engineer goby who can’t catch food in the dark because he’s a dumb dumb.
The orange set, which was so bad I literally could only see skeleton has puffed up tonight and is clearly regrowing flesh. I am in shock. What in the world can kill these things if they look that bad and can regrow? Coral is amazing.

They can be very resilient as LPS go. The ones I have in my tank right now started from two dying heads. It's been 5 years now since I first got them.
