I need help logging into apex via laptop

I can’t seem to get in via hardwire. If someone smarter than me can call me that would be awesome.

I’m sitting on that screen on my laptop, Ethernet cable connected and can’t seem to connect to my controller. Tried apex.local and the name off the controller.local. Nothing seems to connect.
