My 25-gallon lagoon is not looking/doing well. I have 4 fish, bare bottom, and TB live rock. I have 8 corals, and only one or two seem to be doing well. I do AWC with dos currently at 1000ml per day. I use Tropic Marin Salt, no dosing. My parameters as of yesterday. I have a ReeFi LED Uno 2.x Pro.

Alk 6.2
Calcium 544
Mag 1545
Nitrate 4.7
Phosphate 0.11

My Goni's will not extend, and I don't seem to get any growth. I have been battling hair algae for the past 2 months. I pull it out manually, remove rocks and scrub, but it seems to keep coming back. Fish are doing fine, I auto feed twice a day and every other day I feed frozen mysis shrimp. I have hermits, snails and 1 cleaner shrimp that has molted 3 times since I added him.

Tank has been up for at least 2 years, and I can never keep corals alive for more than a few weeks... I would love some help. Will post pictures ASAP, as I have to find my camera filter and lights are just coming on.

Thank you and please help.

Alk is definitely on the low side but I don’t think that’s inhibiting. Ca is way high, that could be restricting growth.

How is your flow/aquascape set up?

Agreed the alk is low whil calc is really high, that mismatch could be problematic.

Which coral are doing well, and which ones aren't? May give a clue for which direction to head in

I am using Tropic Marin Pro-Reef salt and it seems to run high on Calcium, was thinking of switching salt, but will that have a negative effect?

Once my lights come on a bit more, I will post pictures, still am here. I have a torch that is still alive, and another coral that I don't know name.

What are your light settings? Thats a very strong light for that tank.
Can you comment on your flow? Can you share some pics?

I posted my lights schedule above, I am running the default LPS schedule. For flow I have a AI Orbit running about 60 - 75 percent random pulse. Lights are still coming on, so things are still dark

I'm not familiar with this light, I googled it and it says 270 watts? If your running it up to 75% you might be cooking the corals, you only need a 50 watt light for that size tank. Might be worth it to rent a par meter

Yeah that’s the ReeFi Uno 2.1 I think. Start much lower at around 20-25% at most. Overpowered for that use.
