Unfortunately, the pom pom crab and sexy shrimp looked completely dead when they arrived.
The porcelain crab was moving just a little bit, but now has stopped moving completely. The porcelain crab lasted the longest so I named it Popeye as it would only move a claw.

John refunded everything with no issue. I believe it was due to the winter storm.

Let's have a moment of silence for our fallen friends.

Adam at BattleCorals held up shipping due to the storm. I try not to buy livestock this time of year but with the sales and grow out contests......

Lots of loses this last week with freexing storms and fire storms.

RIP to the real ones
every order i’ve lost inverts on from Reef Cleaners was always refunded very quickly no issue, have had much great success ordering from john the past few years,,, speaking of
its almost time for a restock but i’ll wait till better weather & when california isn’t half burning down to do so

RIP

I lost a bunch of coral in shipping.. UPS guy brought it at 8pm so it sat in a cold truck for 12 hours. Will get replacement in SPRING. Not trying that **** again.

I ordered from reef cleaners, big order in fall... and 100% of everything survived and active... but that is because of the ideal shipping temps imo.

I have an order coming next week, fingers crossed the weather is t too bad. I have been holding off but my new 300g needs more cuc badly and the smaller snails you get from John are perfect for all the places my tangs and larger snails can’t

those dwarf cerith? in my experience those things are indestructible
one made it (don’t know how) from the bedroom to the living room about 40ft or so and was in there for who knows how long
right after putting it back into the tank it went back to work

they get stuck in my NERO pump guards : in the pump itself from time to time which drives me insane but they even survive being in there constantly getting hit by the blades lolol
not the brightest creatures i keep but still a funny one (ESPECIALLY) now im realizing im talking about these one snails too much ,,,, they really like to group up in big groups at night in my tank usually top corner on the glass and i have no clue why

Your blatant disregard for the sturdy but stupid little snails is astounding! I would be offended if I also didn’t appreciate the survivability of these durable creatures.

I am glad that I have never been placed in a shipping container and sent around the world to be released into a zoo. I probably belong there but thus far I have been treated like a valuable customer instead of a commodity.

Except when I flew last year on that yellow plane airline, they cancelled my connecting flight before I boarded in St Thomas.

Same here, I just ordered from wwc, hopefully everything arrives alright. My condolences @Knucker

Everything else survived from what I can tell. The Halloween Hermit crab, the snails, and the blue legs all made it just fine. It was just those 3.
I also noticed their bags weren't as inflated as the others. Which leads me to believe the air became colder in those bags and took up less space. Indicating a drop in temp water temp as well.
