Not even. The first ones released have no wireless just wifi. The next release will allow you to put a wireless service on it.

Im being honest my dad was going to get one for work (which he does/will use it alot for) and i was like ill go pick one up to =P perks of know people no line standing. We got home and it was like wow i have a 1/5 sized of these in my pocket. I new it would be just like my iphone. I got it on the ground of two reasons.

One, i will look super cool in class with it.
Two, i have a bigger screan to watch old school/elf/hang over and wedding crashers on now in the car.

Down the facts here about it i think

- If you are in bussiness its nice
- If you have kids its nice (movie time while driving)
- If you do the hole coffie shop thing its nice
- If your a college student who needs to write the most basic notes its nice
- if you have a 45 mins break inbetween two classes and dont want to look like a tool dragging around a labtop its nice
- If you have the money to wast its a luxery

A luxery is all it is it does nothing amazing/ground breaking that somthign else doesnt do. But like i said i bought it on the grounds ill use it to write notes in class and not lugg the macbook pro and i think it will be nice in the car or to give to the girl's me and my girlfreid frequantly watch so they can watch somthing in the car and give use peace..

Yea i will most likly put mine on ebay soon so i can buy this one. Also my biggest reason to buy it but will not apply to you guys most likly is i use it for photo storage. And easy transferablily from work/school/home it making bringing photo's places so much easer. insted of my flash drive or iphone.

I mean if you look at from the point of view that some of the electronic book readers like kindle are $250 then it's not that bad for what you can do with it. I think it will definitely kill the e book readers.

I'll probably pick one up soon. I use my iTouch all the time for checking FB, forums, email, etc... There are times (many actually) I wish the touch was bigger.

I think it will fit my needs perfectly.

I don't buy into all the negativity I've been reading about it elsewhere. No OS, no hard drive, etc. It wasn't designed to be a laptop or PC. It was designed so my lazy *** doesn't have to get off the couch to check my email. ;)
