i think i got scammed

ordered a profilux 4 off the market place from @Falcon 6 for a good

price. seller did not say there were any issues with it. then said the also have a mitras lx7206 for sale very cheap bought both. received today. Mitras caught fire and let out the magic smoke within 5 minutes of being plugged in. conductivity probe is shattered, PAB electrical plug looks like it was pulled from the twin towers rubble. all was packed extremely well in its original boxes this was not shipping damage

Did you try to contact the seller?

Looking at their build thread it looks like they bought that light 6 years ago….

It might have just been on its last leg.

i sent them a pm.

well they shouldnt have sold it if thats the case. i could understand if it died on me weeks or months from now. but lasting 5 minutes on top of all the other problems is not just a coincidence.

the pab was definitely trash and nobody should plug that socket , its already been on fire from a short. i could give him benefit of the doubt on the probe breaking in shipping though.

but all 3 together? nah. I wasnt born yesterday
