I think I might be bleaching!

I think my helmet coral is bleaching! Please let me know if you agree. Should I move it more into the shade? And my other thought is that it could be putting polyps up? If so, it would be the first time I have seen so many. But the really thin mucus makes me think bleaching. Please help. And thanks in advance.

It's hard to tell from the pics, but it looks like exposed skeleton, which isn't good. Also, you may want to post or move this to the LPS section. In the meantime, what are your parameters? Lighting? Tank age? etc.......
