Might want to start mixing it in a small jug before dosing it. That way you know its fully dissolved before going into the water with the clown.
I'll do that. How effective is treating a fish with the powder usually? Starting to get a bit nervous, have seen zero improvement

Well, for internal parasites it is ideal to deliver metro (using food) directly through the intestines where the worms live. To zap them out of there, so to speak. But if the fish refuses to eat, dosing the medication into the water becomes the next best option. Unless you want to attempt tube feeding.

The fish still has to drink, and will ingest some of the medication that way. Dosing metro into the water has worked for me most of the time, but not all of the time.
