I want fish for Xmas

So every year for Christmas I get a great gift. Either a Tie with my kids picture on it. Or a stone with my children's hand prints on it, or .......

I love these gifts that revolve around my children but I want fish and corals. I tell her this every year. How do I get her to go shopping for Fish or corals?

I gave her a list the last two years with no results.

If i get one more coffee cup with my kids picture on it I'm gonna scream.

Call me selfish, but I really want a Regal Angel.

I would recommend telling her that you want a gift certificate like pepino got. This would make it easier for her and great for you!

Asking for a fish for yourself might not work. How about getting a Regal Angel for the kids for christmas?

tell her you want a regal angel with a picture taped to it of the kids :) or maybe a little sweater with their pic?

i actually had this problem with my wife. i just tell her not to get me anything, and then just get what i want a couple weeks after christmas. women (most) don't understand this whole fish thing. i know better than to ask for a new skimmer or something for my camera. she thinks if everything is working fine, no reason to buy something else for it. who cares that my skimmer is underpowered for my tank, or that it drives me nuts having to wait for the camera's timer to go off.

it's just easier my way :) or, i will buy something just before christmas (just bought adobe lightroom 2, a remote shutter release and an 8gb card for my camera), saying it was on sale (which these were) and that is what i was going to ask for anyway.

well my wife told me to just go spend some money on myself for christmas. I bought her some jewlry and some tools for me instead. I still want a bunch of stuff for Christmas, but I honestly expect more from my little brother than my wife for Christmas. I would not have even asked for a fish. she would have just called me selfish and told me to go watch the new tv. lol. oh yeah I finally got a new tv after mine going out 4 months ago. lol. she loved me for it. lol.

I'm glad you added that "most" :) It is the opposite here! I usually get cash bonuses for Christmas from some of my clients, so I then have an excuse to buy some coral or fish! I'm always happy with a little money! :)
