thanks again everybody!

for you photo junkies, there's something that REALLY bugs me about this photo. :(

do you see the two out of focus white streaks coming down vertically in front of the subjects? one of them follows the 1/3 line on the right. :/ can you guess what they are?

Congratulations! What are those corals in the winning pic? They are stunning!

by total surprise, i was notified yesterday that a photo i entered into the drs. foster and smith "aquatic life photo contest" last month...won!!! :D

i totally forgot all about this one. late one night i came across a link to submit a photo for this contest, didn't read any of the rules/info, and quickly picked this image to submit before peeling myself up from my computer to go to bed. didn't follow it, and totally missed the entire voting process. yet, somehow, enough voters managed to choose my photo as the winner!

thank you so much if you voted! looks like in addition to this winning, i will also be entered into a chance to win a $500 gift certificate in april.

cheers!

I voted for that one! congrats. Of the five that you went up against yours was clearly the better picture. The judges seem to be hot on freshwater stuff for some reason.

Thanks again everybody. The corals you can see in the pics are acans I got from Ian.

Congratulations!! I kept telling my wife to shoot some pics for that content!! Nice pic! Love the matching red in corals and fish!
