IceCap / Hydros Wave Engine

Can I operate these two things by themselves? As in do i need to go out and buy more hydros gear, or can i just get the gyre, and pump controller and have it said and done.

wave engine v2 will let you control 4 pumps by itself. or they have the smaller LE that will let you control 2 pumps

That’s all you need. I ran one for awhile.. I actually need to sell it and my ice cap 4K gyre’s lol

ALL of HYDROS is standalone! Yes, you can pickup the WaveEnginev2 and set it up standalone. If you decide to add more HYDROS later on, you can with those 2 blue ports.

The WaveEnginev2 can handle 4 pumps. Compatible pumps are sold as a PUMP ONLY option, just make sure to pick up the proper WE Adapter Cable.

Thanks! and if i am connecting multiple "hubs" does each need its own power supply from the wall outlet or can they piggy back off of one?

Just know in some cases you may need to buy an extra cable to connect the gyre to the wave engine. Depending on the Gyre manufacture of course.

I did at least with my Maxspect XF280.
