I have a few of these. Anyone know if they can be used on T5 bulbs.

They will run T5s to VHO level... 4 foot at about 85-90w. You need to use VHO, water proof T5 end caps (Champion Lighting has them). Your typical HO T5 bulb (ATI, Hamilton, Gieseman) will last about 6-9 months and the color will shift just a bit but most people cannot tell unless you have them side by side. You can VHO T5s from UVL (through Champion Lighting) that will last about 4000 hours - their bulbs look really nice and Actinic White and Super Actinic are awesome looking bulbs - these are made to be run at 85/90 watts.

The output is linear with regular T5 if you have good reflectors. Big E uses these if you want to search for his build thread. 4 bulbs where most people use 6 or 8.

Any experience or opinions on how to mix and match the UVL bulbs for best color and growth?

I have only used the T12 version, but pairs of Actinic White and Super Actinic were awesome.
