Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone has gotten ICH from LFS and then called them and explained whatever the situation was and the outcome? Did they care? did they offer advice? Did they make it not a big deal or act like it's your fault? Maybe offer a reimbursement for it. Also anyone have any of them say it came from your tanks?

Sounds like you have an issue with your LFS. It’s understandable to feel that way. Many fish are stressed from shipping and getting into a new environment. This can result in bad nutrition, stress and disease. I believe all fish have diseases at all times and proper nutrition and a comfortable environment reduces stress and lets the immune systems function properly. Start treating the problem and move forward. You don’t have the bandwidth to deal with ice and your LFS

Sometimes, this happens with stores. I would move past the situation and work to treat the fish!

This was the first time I went. it was an hour and a half and I spent 300 I have lost all the conchs I bought within 48 Hours my other forum post comments suggest they weren't healthy when I got them. This store has great reviews so I don't have anything against them but I don't think this is very cool

And I think letting this **** go and just treating like everyone suggest is why everyone runs into this. If the stores aren't held to a higher standard to have healthy fish or any back lash then they will continue to do so IMO. I just think places can do better. Selling fish day off in copper can add a lot of stress too or treating low level of copper so you can't see any parasites' is kind of fishy to me too
