Hey everybody I have had some issues with my tank the padt couple months. I believe it to be ich but no matter what I do it does not go away. I believe the problem stemmed from temperature difference during a water change. The fish have white spots. I have lost 4 fish during this time and have been treating paraguard for the past month and seen some success in reducing it but it has not gone. Is this for sure Ich? and what should i do to fully treat this?

There are some photos attached below

If you are not seeing rapid breathing and if the fish are still eating, I would say this is ich. Paraguard just doesn't work very well for marine ich, it does work better against freshwater protozoans.

I presume this is a FOWLR tank? If so, I think it would be a good candidate for a hyposalinity treatment. Using a high quality hydrometer or refractometer, lower the specific gravity to 1.009 over three days. Hold it at that point for 30 days and then very slowly raise it back up (over 5 to 7 days). This will kill invertebrates though, and you may see some algae die off.
