You are a little overdosed as it should be between 2.25 and 2.5ppm
How are you monitoring level and with what test kit?
Treatment is a FULL 30 days so you are at 1/3 of treatment cycle

Can you furnish pics under white lighting to confirm it is indeed ich ?

But it is normal?
Not to say normal but I question if it is ich or something else and you have a way to go with treatment protocol/time

2.9 is too high of a dose. I prefer to stick with 2.5 ppm. What test kit are you using?

Are you sure the white spots are ich and not mucus plugs?
