It appears my Pygmy angel may have a case of ick, I noticed these spots on the tail a few days ago. In the tank there is two wrasse, two clowns, a fire fish and an Ember Blenny. No one else is exhibiting symptoms although there may be a couple dots on the fire fish’s tail but I’m not positive. May be important to note this angel had a case of popeye a few months ago that resolved itself. My plan is to add metroplex and angelixir to the food as well as dosing peroxide.
The system is 40 gallons.
Salinity 35
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 15-20 ppm
Alk: 7.8
Phosphate: .03 ppm
Magnesium: 1350
PH: 8
-Can I dose peroxide without a skimmer?
-If so any recommendations on how to dose the peroxide?
-Any other treatment advice or recommendations?
-Any alternative diagnosis’s?
Any advice or input is appreciated!
