Hello All,

I've been having some issues with my torch (2 months) and toadstool (~3 weeks) and my zoas, within the last week have joined the protest.

Looking for direction on things to watch/try on why.

Here's my stats:

~90 gallon display with ~10 gallon sump

I recently (6 weeks) switched from RC to IO salt but was having the torch issues before the change, and switched to lower my Alk on water changes.

I was dosing kalk via ATO (@ 1 tsp/gal of RO/DI water) but stopped about 1 month ago to observe the change in preparation for switching to a dosing pump.

Planned on using said pump to dose Kalk and All-for-Reef (powder), but I want to hold off until I know why these dudes are angry.

Lo/Hi Hanna tester results over past month:
NO3: 10.9-26.7
PO4: 0.0-.46
Alk: 7.9-11
Ca: 467-505
Mg: 1430-1650

Most recent:
NO3: 16.8
PO4: .16
Alk: 9.5
Ca: 505
Mg: 1430

Attaching my ICP that I sent in with the same water as my most recent hanna test were. Also, some tank photos. Full disclosure, between Thanksgiving and traveling for work, my NO3/PO4 slipped and I had to fight some dino's for a couple weeks while dosing both NO3/PO4, I'm monitoring them both closly to hold the 100:1 ratio, but I had the problem with the torch before the swing, so maybe it's not related.

I think it of note that my SPS are killing it, growing awesome since being added.

I think my flow is solid, 2 MP-10's on the back wall and 1 MP-40 across the front.

2 G5 XR-15 pros (AB+ profile). Throwing in PAR readings as well.

Any help is appreciated, thanks folks.

If you are going to be using ICP I would suggest sending out another sample to a different vendor. The one you are using (ICP-Analysis.com) is not the best, as shown by various posts on this forum.

Bump for input on your corals.

I'll say no ICP test is really that great, any research on the subject is inconclusive. The only discernible comparison would be OES vs. MS. However, I had a couple year hiatus from reef keeping and while I previous went with ICP-Analysis at the time, I was disappointed that I no longer had the option to send in my RO/DI water.

In searches for the current standard, I saw that ATI is fairly well recommended, so I'll see how those tests compare as soon as I use my remaining ICP.

thanks for the bump
