About to perform an ATI ICP test and one vial is used for RO water. I'm curious if anyone can comment on taking the sample before and after the DI cartridge.

Part of me thinks it may be more reliable to take it before the DI cartridge. My current cartridge looks about half exhausted but I could always replace it, run it for a while, then take the sample.

I'm assuming the elements I would want to look out for would be metals...

Isn't the whole point to check the final water that your going to put into your tank? Unless your checking to see if you need DI

Yes. Just overthinking things a little trying to play devil's advocate I guess. Definitely not checking to see if the DI is exhausted that's an easy fix for me.

I will test post DI unless I can think of a reason not to :)
