Hello everyone. I have been dosing h2o2 3% at half the dose suggested at humblefish for treating ich. I am due for an icp-oes test by triton. Will h2o2 interfere with my testing result?
Thank you

Probably not in a serious way. Hydrogen peroxide can alter the chemical state of some trace elements (copper, iron, etc.) and that may impact their solubility and bioavailability. ICP cannot detect either chemical state or bioavailability, but if something precipitated, that gets detected as a lower result.

I would not avoid an ICP test just for that reason.

Thank you. Going ahead with the test tomorrow.
