Hey all! hoping someone could help me id this if it is a problem. Ive been away on holiday and come back to my fish looking off (3 fish flashing while 2 showing no symptoms) of the 3 fish 2 have visible differences (vamp tang & blenny). Royal gramma flashing but no visible issue yet
My ammonia is a bit high at <0.2, nitrite 0 and nitrate <5. Ph 8/8.2 and salinity comfortably at 1.026. temp is 24°c. Let me know if any other tests would benefit in the id as id like to figure this out asap. im fully prepared for this to be the worst 😭

If the photos are bad:
•Vamp tang seems to have little black specks but they seem white under white light (see below)*
•The blennys issues ALMOST disappear under white however he runs into his cave when its light so I’m not sure entirely

These are remnants of flukes and fish and you want to treat with PraziPro and dose at 85% of recommended and allow it to work for 7 days, change water and apply one more application lasting 7 days and do add an air stone as Prazi lowers both oxygen and appetite

Can this be done in the main display or would it harm corals/inverts etc?

Yes and will kill feather dusters and bristle worms.

The scratching sounds like flukes, but I can’t rule out ich, sone of the spots don’t look like flukes.

Still, treating for flukes is probably the best direction to go right now. Watch for increasing pinhead white spots, especially if they show up on the fins, that is more a sign of ich.
