I found this peeking out from under a rock last week. I have since found that it is attached to the bottom of my tank, so it wont be moving anytime soon. Any ideas what it is?

looks like a shroom to me, take a bone cutter and cut him off of the rock, mount him to a frag plug and grow him out, sell/trade them later! Congrats on the free shroom

I was thinking it was a mushroom but i have never seen a coral react so fast.
my clowns are always on that side of the tank but they have never really showed much interest in it.
I noticed once my lights went off it opens up and has tentacles exactly like an anemone.
