What is this?

I fragged it off it’s base because another acro that came with it had AEFW eggs. So I fragged it pretty low and dipped it then reglued to this disc. This is what it looks like under blues.

it was sold to me as “I don’t know.”

Then that's what it is - a non lineaged no name Acropora. names are (supposed to be) about lineage. If the seller didn't know then it was either a maricultured or wild piece or it was purchased from an LFS who got it from a wholesaler so no name, or they purchased it from another hobbyist who doesn't remember the name, etc etc. It's fine to say it looks like something, but if you're being honest you should not say it is something specifically named with lineage... That being said it looks like it could be a nice piece if it survives.

That’s a great point - I have to keep in mind the whole name thing.

whatever it grows into, hopefully it’s great and I can share some pictures in the future. I have never seen one like this hence why I grabbed it :)
