Just picked up a couple nice acro frags today. Took them home do what I do normally and 2 of the plugs are plastic and won’t snap off. So I tried to chisel one off since I don’t have a saw handy. And the whole drag popped off. Good news was it wasn’t very encrusted yet. I reglued it on new plug and put it in tank after a quick iodine dip for 3sec. Polyps are out but won’t mean much for like a week. In the past when this happened the coral didn’t recover. Any experience with soemthing like this? Chance it survives and starts to grow again? It’s a vivid confetti so not a cheap piece
