People eaters often have a green or blue mouth “slit” appearing as a line in the middle of the polyp. They also have a fairly short fat skirt that is one or two solid colors, never striped. Hawaiian people eaters are often referred to as “Pink Hawaiian People Eaters” here’s a photo from Tidal Gardens.

Hawaiian ding dangs tend to more of a green or blue coloration instead of pink. Honestly I believe that this might just be WWC trying to copyright this very popular zoa since they named it WWC Hawaiian Ding Dangs instead of just Hawaiian Ding Dangs.

Thank you! Both are very unique and pretty looking. The Ding Dangs look a little nicer IMO.

Interesting how the ding dangs can come in all blue also, almost like the center of a Utter Peace (without the red). Here is a photo from one of our local reefers
