It doesn’t look like my others. I would have never guessed that...
maybe, it will open up more tomorrow. I could have sworn it would be the in the Euphyllia (probably, not spelled right) family. I almost always guess wrong... lol...thx :)

I could be wrong. Def take a few more pics

No problem... I appreciate the help. It could be...
I’m glad to have something a little different/different colors. I have too much neon green and purple. I’m still learning, that’s for sure. And, my photo skills are terrible... I’ll try in normal/regular light tomorrow. :)

hard to be sure with it retracted but looks like it might be a Galaxea. hopfully someone better at id chimes in. if it opens up it should be much easier to id.
I did think, that was a possibility...hmmm... it might open up more tomorrow. They can look so different at home and I did the coral dip.

Looks like green eyed cyphastrea which is also called Nuclear Green Cyphastrea

I don't think it's a cyph. It's hard to tell when it's retracted though. Cyphastrea will have more uniform sized eyes. The skeletal structure on those big ones are reaching really far.

Looking closer it's definitely not a cyphastrea. Skeletal structure is not a match.

Galaxeas are related to torch corals hence the corallite shape bears a resemblance.

You aren’t far off, Galaxeas are in the same family (Euphyllidae) as Euphyllias.

I hope everyone’s right... I would love a Galaxea! I got up and, and went to look... I was scared it was a GSP... please... don’t be a GSP... anything but a GSP! I’ll upload a picture. It looked completely different at the store. I did a water change yesterday and my water parameters are good... but, it doesn’t look like it did at the in the store. Maybe, getting settled/adjusting? Needless to say, store didn’t have a clue... they practically gave it to me (it was newly shipped/anything that’s in the store is destroyed/bleached in a few weeks.) They know it, they don’t have an aquatics person.
Anyway, I was excited...
I was thinking Duncan?
Frogspawn or
Galaxea?
Not GSP! Lol
This is going back, if it’s GSP! Lol
Maybe, they can kill it... jk
I have GSP and I’m over it.., now, it’s a weed/quite annoying! I’m going to take the pic... thx, everyone! :)
