ID help? Possibly sponges?

I found this thing below a section of my rockwork with 0 light, looks like a number of sponges??
Sorry for the photo quality, its a bit far back, so hard to get a good photo.

I know pineapple ones are meant to be fine. Any harm in having something like this?


Like said most sponges are harmless and actually good. They can remove nutrients from the water.
There are a few that are invasive.

Some just grow on the bottom of rock in the shade.

Awesome, I thought so, but thought it would be better to check.
