Hi guys! Hoping for some help! (Please don’t mind the water on the back of the tank ‍♀️) I’ve had this little guy in a 36g QT tank under coppersafe treatment for 7 weeks now. He had what I thought looked like ich and slight popeye when I first got him then (other clowns in the video have been in the same qt tank for the same time bc they had ich). I have a Hanna checker and it’s never once dropped below therapeutic levels - I’ve had it pretty steady around 2.5 actually. The other clowns seem to have no symptoms. Is it likely these could be flukes? He’s been eating and swimming healthy with no rapid breathing the entire time. He seemed healthy around the 3 week point on, and just developed these about 4-5 days ago with no change in breathing/swimming/eating. What am I looking at here? 10027350-6027-4C3D-A630-EF060B1AE975.jpeg

Looks like neither and may actually be lymphocystis which is a viral issue and often associated with either poor water quality, poor diet or both.
What is age of tank and current ammonia-nitrate-ph-salinity?
What test kits are you using?
Age of tank?
What are you feeding?

Ammonia at zero, nitrite around 5, ammonia at zero, salnuty 1.026. Tank is about 3 months old, but it’s a qt, I brought media from my DT for filter

What test kit are you using ?
Media may not be enough to prevent spikes.

Using Hanna test for copper, api drops test kit for others
Reason I asked- API notorious for false readings and I am suspected you have ammonia and nitrates in tank. I would take a water sample to a trusted LFS that does not use API kits and see what results they come up with.

It could be Lymphocytis, but the fish have been in copper long enough, too much copper and too long of a dose can cause extra mucus production. It could also be flukes. I generally end a copper treatment and then dose Prazipro 2x

Thank you so much for replying, Jay! I ended up deciding to do a fw dip, and go figure, some sesame seeds at the bottom. On to prazipro today! (After removing copper) thank you!!!
