Hi, can anyone tell me what type of clown this is? This isn't my tank (eek on the algae) but the clown is an adoption. Just trying to find out what it is. Thank you!

I couldn’t tell you the exact breed, but it is a maroon clownfish. They get much larger and much meaner than the standard occelaris.
Thank you. I have a peaceful tank, so would you say that he might disrupt the vibe?

Definitely, if you are looking for a peaceful clown I would go with a skunk or an occy (not the black morphs though).
Occys can still be mean though - my female is an absolute nightmare.

Yikes, just read some articles on these guys and doesn’t sound right for my tank. They sure are beautiful though!
