Just got him a few hours ago. He’s not the happiest right now and I may need to wait a little while for it to fully extend for I can get a good pic. But if you can, can anyone ID? I got him for $200. Steal or bad deal? Thanks

He’s opened up just a little more. Not as big as he was at LFS store yet. LFS said it was some kind of Aussie torch but they didn’t know the species.

I think it is very pretty and appears to be making progress, steal/bad deal doesn't matter, if you are in this for enjoyment and you enjoy the way the coral looks it does not matter! Nice piece

Indo ultra green torch

It’s either Euphyllia glabrescens or Euphyllia paraglabrescens, those are the only two possibilities. Without seeing it fully extended it’s tough to say which it is.

Photos don’t do it justice IMO. I’m kinda glad I didn’t just get a purple torch with the green tips because I haven’t seen these torches at my LFS ever. It loves to sway, but isn’t getting hammered. Good purchase for sure.
