ID Please?!? White Flies?

I was just cleaning my tank and noticed what appears to be something like white flies on the glass. They came off when I scrapped, but I have no idea what they are. I'll take a picture as soon as they adhere to the glass again, but does anyone know what they might be?

Impossible to tell with that picture, but I would be more likely to say they are pineapple sponges.
