Got this at lfs for $35. Looks alittle rough. Any suggestions on keeping it nice and happy.

Favias don't eat phyto. Try something meatier like mysis, krill or pellet food. Beautiful coral and great price you got.

Oops did not know that. Sorry for the misleading advise and thanks ritter ^ helps me too! Though I already feed mysis, good to know just in case.

I've tried mysis with flow off and the tenticles won't come out grab it. Ill try again

Give it time and don't over feed. If your tank is right and you have a good lighting and a population of pods you don't actually have to target feed. Some people do some don't but you can decide for yourself if you want to or not.
