Hi! This is my second piece of SPS. The first is a milli that I've have for a month or two and seems to be doing well. Can anyone give me an ID, some basic facts, care, to make sure I'm on the right page? Also, it's on a plug, and I don't think I have a good hole to put the plug in where I want to put it, which is high up. How do I take the coral off the plug gently and how do I glue it to the spot where I want it. I've got super glue gel and reef putty, just wondering if there's a better way. Also, I don't have any fragging tools. Thanks for the help!

Thank you! Do you think I could cut it off the plug with a sharp knife, or do I really need a scalpel?

If not encrusted should pop off the glue if is better to use bone cutters or something like that so it just one fluid cut and not a sawing

I have cuticle trimmers! (might be better to have a dedicated set though, huh?) And a big glob of super glue gel, and voila?

Yep I think those are 10 bucks where I got those and just for that reason wire cutters can cut the bottom of the plug off and just glue the top of the plug

If under water just a few secs is usually what it takes for me as soon as water hits it skims over at most I've held mine for 30 to 60 sec to make sure

I Pu on rock and put coral into it but that's me

I'm guessing you take the rock out of the tank for that, right? If you can't pull the rock, putting glue on the coral is fine too...either way it gets on both (and sometimes your fingers as well...).
