I got this today. He said it was a flowe

r pot but I think he was wrong.

The polyps open but don't extend.

Other than low light/ water movement, how fast do they grow, etc? I would like it to encrypts over a rock I have in here but I don't know how to keep it there or how fast that will happen.

Looks like a goniopora. Something about the polyp tips don't look normal goniopora though. @Salty1962 does cyphastrea extend polyps that much? I'm not 100% sure on goniopora.
I hope it is geniopora, but I won't be upset either way. It's the brightest thing in my tank and I want it to grow.

The polyp crater, for want of a better term, looks like cyphastrea. Goniopora have 24 tentacles on the polyps but it appears cyphastrea so as well from a quick Google. So gut says cyphastrea and a nice one.

At first I thought cyphastrea, but with polyps that large I'm starting to think more goniopora or leptastrea.
