I picked this up a few weeks ago at the shop and I can’t remember what this guys name was or if it just a no name. Sorry that the color isn’t super accurate with my phone picture. I know it’s an echinata but just curious which kind.

Acanthastrea echinata. Very nice colors. Can be aggressive so keep some space around it.

Yeah, I have him on his own rock with a good 6 inches away from anything. Do you know what that pore looking thing with the hole to the right is? It kinda spits stuff out of there some times.

Yes, Acan Echinata for sure. Most likely from Australia as Indo is still not exporting. Wouldn’t worry about that hole, very common in Echinata and from what I’ve seen, has not affected the health of the coral.
